How to Install equalx software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

equalx software package provides graphical editor for LaTeX equations, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install equalx

equalx is installed in your system.

Make ensure the equalx package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep equalx *

You will get with equalx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
